Museo Etnografico
The collection of objects and stories began with Florenzano sisters, two elemantary school teachers who during the ‘60s began to gather tools and artifacts that would tell the history of the village, its inhabitants and their activities. The Museum was established in 1994, owned by the town, in 2008 it was recognized Museum of regional interest by the Campania Region. It is directed by anthropologist Luciano Blasco. In a former convent thousands of items are exposed: the central idea is represented by arts&crafts and their utensils. There are different thematic areas that occupy different environments: Manufacture of textiles, the candle factory, pottery, agriculture and pastoralism, carpentry and wooden items, the cobbler-shoemaker, the blacksmith, the tinsmith. The exhibition is completed by tapestries and ancient Mass books.
