Sagra dei Fiuriddi e Ruspitieddi
The festival of Fiuriddi and Ruspitieddi represents an important annual event for the town of Montano Antilia. Every year, from 5 to 8 August, the festival is attended by most of the population. The inhabitants participate in the cooking of this traditional Cilento’s dish: the fiuriddi, yeast dough with pumpkin flowers, and ruspitieddi, leavened dough with anchovies, fried in oil. The festival also values other typical dishes such as beans of the Queen, eggplant parmesan, homemade gnocchi and fusilli with mutton sauce, bread with “soffritto” etc. The festival is organized by the Onlus Michele Cavallo
