Chiesa di San Giovanni a Vaglio
St. Giovanni de Balio Militum (of militia) dates back to the twelfth century, and originally it had a Roman structure, as evidenced by the apse probably built on an existing structure since in it there have been re-used architectural elements such as columns for subdivision of the aisles. In 1281 the religious building became chaplaincy royal palace under Ferdinand I, who settled in the village with the whole family and rebuilt the castle damaged by the war and widened the church.
