Egidio Adelina
Embroiderer, lace-pillow production. Learning the basic techniques of the ancient art of pizzillo with the pizzillare teachers. Processing and sale of the products. Mrs. Adelina Egidio, owner of the company, has inherited from her mother Rosaria the passion and the techniques of lace-pillow, ranging from the basic embroidery, the so-called “trina”, to the “mezza-passata”, until the famous “pizzo cantù”, whose rim is adorned by “chiacchiarielli” (little curls that follow the line of embroidery). For centuries, the more valuable works have been those that follow the herringbone and the precious grape leaf (produced using of 238 spindles).
