Museo delle Tecnologie, della Cultura e della Civiltà Contadina dell'Alta Irpinia
It is located in the former High School “L. De Simone”. The museum was founded in 1981, by historian Salvatore Boniello. It housand thousands of work tools typical of the ancient farming culture from Middle-Age to the twentieth century, as well as many tools commonly used, from plow to the first typewriter, purchased by Municipality. There are faithful reconstructions of rural and city life, in order to represent and rural life and the culture of the past. Among other themed rooms, there is the photo exhibition on traditional costumes, a collection of coats of arms, games and feminine works of weaving and embroidery, various jobs such as the blacksmith, the carpenter and the doctor. Noteworthy is the exposure of a stone altar in the Chapel of San Rocco, a Follatoio, a testamentary stone dating back to 1738, a wooden crucifix and a medieval hourglass.
