Terredora Di Paolo
DESCRIZIONE “From a rich and an ancient tradition, the passion that animates the present”. Terredora is the story of strong and tenacious men bound to Campania by an atavistic passion for growing grapes and producing quality wines. The Terredora winery was founded in 1994 when Walter Mastroberardino and his offspring Daniela, Lucio and Paolo moved to Montefusco and began to make wine directly with the grapes of their vineyards, and bottling it with the Terredora brand, named after the wife and mother of the owners, Dora Di Paolo. By the time, the company land has reached more than 180 hectares in the best areas of the Avellino province for the production of quality wines. Since the 1978, the careful selection of the sites is a living testimony of the agricultural commitment of this family. The vineyards are located in the Calore valley for the Taurasi, and in the valley of the Sabato river for the Fiano di Avellino and the Greco di Tufo; these vineyards are at 400 and 700 meters above sea level and face south. Today, Terredora is a reliable reference point in the wine production of Campania (and not only), as repeatedly highlighted by the influential Wine Spectator magazine that put it, since 2006 and for three consecutive years, with one of the white wine – Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra and Falanghina Irpinia - in the annual ranking of the top 100 wines in the world.
